Definition -thrift: a thrift store where one can buy second hand clothing, books and furniture -exchange: to give and receive reciprocally About The Thrift Exchange is a monthly thrifting adventure established by two blogger friends living on opposites sides of the world who share a love of thrifting and sending/receiving things in the mail. Each month a theme or trend is chosen, such as leopard print, lace, pastels, stripes, neon or leather. With a budget of $15, the challenge is to find an item of clothing fitting to the theme or trend which is sent to the other person at the end of the month. Opposing seasons, a tight budget, specifically looking for an item in thrift stores and knowing (or not knowing) your friends style are many of the challenges.
